Let me assume that contradicting to the theory of probability my personal trainer will never ever read this my blog or at least this post! AMEN.
Just right on the time of leaving my workplace, my mom has decided to visit me. So that was the beginning of the end of my "kind-of-on diet-but-actually-really-never-on-diet" mood. We with no long considerations decided to visit Egyptian Bazaar (Turkish: 'Mısır Çarşısı') in Istanbul. The also called "The Spice Bazaar" is located in Fatih in the neighborhood of Eminonu.
Briefly, the Bazaar is quite large and you can mainly find different types of spices there. But most importantly for me you can find "lokum" there. Lokum is a Turkish delight, member of confections family based on gel of starch and sugar. It commonly consists of chopped dates, pistachios, and hazelnuts bound by the gel. For some gel is flavoured with rosewater, lemon and etc. I however, can't stand the ones with with pomegranate flavour. Yummy! So yummy!!! Definitely, "must-eat" in Istancool! Yes, a lot of calories, but then again "Don't we live once?!"
