Big Shoes to Fill at the House of Dior

Maybe this is too early to say so (quite a few days to go) but I guess Paris Fashion Week will stuck in minds of socialities and commons with Dior's debut, Isabel Marant floral tie-front dresses and of course Victor and Rolf's beautiful black rose prints. But most importantly I want to expand this Dior's debut topic and share my excitement over a great work.

If Jil Sander was the big story in Milan, then Raf Simons at Dior - and his first ready-to-wear collection since his appointment back in April was the big, and I mean really really big, story in Paris or more likely the whole holy fashion month. It was everything you would expected to see on the catwalk but in some ways it was completely unexpected. It was simply simple and fascinating.

Anyways, doubtlessly good choice, Dior.

'La Rouvenaz' Favourite Restaurant in Montreux

Pour Vous le Chocolat C'est Quand?

She ran away in her sleep
And dreamed of
Para-para-paradise, Para-para-paradise, Para-para-paradise
Every time she closed her eyes...
Chocolate is my paradise! So in chocolate factory I was like an angel in heaven! It was sooo sweeet! I can talk write about it for hours but you better take a look at pictures.

40 minutes in Shaki

"If there will be no other building in Azerbaijan it will be enough to show Khan Palace to the world." - Nazim Hikmet

Spent a bit more than thirty minutes in Shaki and of course took some pictures for blog...Went to the Palace of Shaki Khans straight away and admired its beauty not for the first and not even for the third time.  The Palace of Shaki Khans (Şəki xanlarının sarayı in Azerbaijani) was a summer residence of Shaki Khans. The two-storied building  (built in 18th century) which is decorated with magnificent frescos and exquisite stained glass work, known as 'shebeke' looks absolutely stunning!

Dry Bridge Market in Tbilisi

Usually, in this blog I share pictures from upper east side restaurants, castles and other places. A few weeks ago I realised that this may be some kind of boring to readers so I have decided to share a post about more exotic place-bazaar. Market on the place called 'Dry Bridge' (Сухой мост in russian). Here you can find anything: paintings, silver goods, old and antique products and etc. Very interesting place in the centre of Tbilisi.

Château in Montreux

Lake Leman lies by Chillon’s walls:
A thousand feet in depth below
Its massy waters meet and flow...
There are seven pillars of Gothic mould,
In Chillon’s dungeons deep and old,
There are seven columns massy and grey,
Dim with a dull imprison’d ray,
A sunbeam which hath lost its way…

P.S Thanks for many pictures to Itouch Asl, xx
