Rare And Old Books

And many more Destructions played
In this ghastly masquerade,
All disguised, even to the eyes,
Like bishops, lawyers, peers, or spies.
Last came Anarchy; he rode
On a white horse, splashed with blood;
He was pale even to the lips,
Like Death in the Apocalypse.
The Masque of Anarchy, 1832

 When a few years ago I was reading Dan Brown's books one after one without any time gap between them I was extremely passionate about old books, their history, their content and the way they are stored.

But unfortunately, so far I have not had a chance to hold any book older than from the 19th century... I have photographed a few old and rare books in France the oldest of which is from 1801 year and now I am sharing them on my blog.
