After a glass of virgin mochito in Cafe de Paris I decided to go somewhere I have not been before in Monaco so I went to The Oceanographic Museum (Musée Océanographique) which is a museum of marine sciences in Monaco-Ville. To be honest the building itself is too posh to be a museum of Oceanography but I hope animals and animal lovers won't get hurt with my words.
The museum is home to exhibitions and collections of various species of sea fauna (starfish, seahorses, turtles, jellyfish, crabs, lobsters, rays, sharks, sea cucumbers, cuttlefish etc.) both stuffed and in skeletal form, and sea related objects. An aquarium located in the basement of the museum showcases a wide array of flora and fauna. Ultimately, worth visiting if you are bored in Monte Carlo.
