She's a modern day Nancy Sinatra with her soulful, sometimes sombre sound, but what I mostly remember about her is her retro look. When in London I went to the hairdresser to get waves as Lana does but got really dissapointed. The final look was almost the same BUT if you have quite long hair this hairstyle won't last for long plus you can actually do it youself.
To achieve Lana’s gorgeous waves, begin by using a curling tool and select the heat you want(low if you have coloured hair). Next, starting at the root, wrap sections around the base of the wand or tong, twisting the hair as you go. Hold for 10 seconds maximum, then release the section, tugging the end slightly to encourage an "S" wave. Once hair has cooled brush through from top to bottom with a bristle brush. Eventually, spritz the brush with hairspray and run it over for uniformed waves.
Easy, peasy but chic, chip and classy.
P.S They say diamonds are girls's best friends I believe hairdressers, and make-up artists are.
