Malevich's Black Square

Black Square on a white background. Easy. Any person who can draw can probably do like that. But here's a riddle: a black square on a white background - the picture of Russian artist Kazimir Malevich, was created at the beginning of the century. This is something sacred, as a kind of myth, as a symbol of Russian avant-garde.

It is said that Malevich painted "Black Square", for a long time telling everyone that he can not eat or sleep. And he does not understand what is really done. And indeed, this picture is the result, apparently, of some hard work. When one looks at the black square, it is possible to see a cracked lower layers of colorful - pink, green.

The artist then thought a lot about the black box, wrote theoretical papers, tied it with cosmic consciousness. Malevich believed that "Black Square" - is the pinnacle of everything.
